Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter or Crisco
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Mix well and make into a roll.
    Let stand in icebox overnight. Slice 1/4-inch thick.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
