Tortellini Carbonara With Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (9-oz.) pkg. refrigerated cheese tortellini
    1 tsp. olive oil
    1 1/2 c. already-chopped cooked ham, thawed if frozen
    1 1/2 c. half and half
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 large eggs
    1/4 tsp. black pepper or more to taste
Preparation
    Place 3 quarts of water in a 4 1/2-quart soup pot or Dutch oven.
    Cover, place over high heat and bring the water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook, according to the package instructions (5 to 6 minutes).
    When pasta is done, drain well and set aside.
