Ingredients

2 1/2 c. very warm water (105~ to 115~)
2 pkg. or cakes yeast
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. melted margarine or oil
7 c. unsifted flour
cornmeal (optional)
1 egg white mixed with 1 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Add yeast to very warm water and mix well in large bowl.
Add salt and melted margarine or oil; mix.
Add (all at one time) 7 cups flour.
Mix well with spoon or by hand.
(Dough will be somewhat sticky.)
Place in greased bowl.
(Do not knead.)
Let rise until double in bulk.
Punch down and divide into 2 portions. Roll into rectangle.
Starting at long side, roll up into loaf and tuck ends under.
Place on greased cookie sheet (sprinkled with cornmeal).
Let rise until doubled and brush tops with egg white mixture.
Bake at 450\u00b0 until browned.
