Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    4 to 5 bananas, cubed
    1 medium can crushed pineapple, well drained
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. boiling water
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve the Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water.
    Add frozen strawberries and stir until dissolved.
    Add crushed pineapple and bananas.
    Spread 1/2 of mixture in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch serving container or glass dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Spread sour cream over top of mixture and chill until firm.
    Nuts may be added if desired. Serves 8 to 10.
    Excellent with ham or turkey or as dessert.
