Grandmother'S Potatoes And Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions, peeled and sliced thinly
    6 to 8 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
    2 to 3 medium zucchini (about 1/8-inch thick), scrubbed and sliced
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    fresh tomatoes (optional)
Preparation
    Saute onions until golden in large frypan. Add potatoes and squash (tomatoes, if desired).
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    Occasionally turn vegetables carefully with spatula. Ready to serve with potatoes are soft.
