Pickled Squash (Yellow) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. squash
    2 c. chopped onions
    2 c. bell peppers
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. white vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    pimentos
Preparation
    Slice squash in thin slices.
    Add chopped onion and peppers. Cover with 1 tablespoon salt for 1 hour.
    Add vinegar, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Boil for 5 minutes.
    Add pimentos for color.
    Put in hot jars and seal.
    Process in hot water bath for 5 minutes.
