Bacon Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 9 slices bacon, chopped (do not drain)
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Slowly mix cornstarch with bacon and water, cooking until thick.
    Great with lettuce, dandelion or endive.
    Dandelion or endive should be added to hot mixture and set awhile before serving.
