Scratch Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. soda
    6 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening, then add buttermilk. Turn out on lightly floured surface.
    Knead slightly.
    Roll out and cut biscuits.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
