2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped pecans

Cook this in a microwave-safe container which holds 3 times the amount of ingredients or it will boil over.
