Chewy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box dark brown sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
2 sticks margarine or butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 to 2 1/2 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
as many nuts as you can afford

Preparation

Put first 3 ingredients into double boiler and stir while melting.
Let it get warm, do not let it boil, then add flour, vanilla, salt, baking powder and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
