Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs.
Add mixture of flour, soda and salt gradually.
Mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
Spread in greased 10 x 15-inch baking pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
Cut into 2-inch squares.
