Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 large potatoes
    2 onions
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
    salt
    pepper
    milk or half and half
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in broth and enough water to cover potatoes; add chopped onions.
    Cook until tender.
    Mash with a little butter, leaving some potato chunks.
    Add milk or half and half to thinness desired.
    Add salt and pepper.
