Country Fried Venison Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    venison steak
    salt and pepper
    flour
    bacon grease
    onion slices
    water
Preparation
    Cut venison steaks into serving size pieces; coat both sides with salt, pepper and flour.
    Brown on both sides in bacon grease; cover with onion slices; add 2 cups water.
    Cover and cook on low heat for 1 hour or until tender, adding water if necessary. Thicken gravy with remaining seasoned flour.
