Sweet-Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

1/4 c. maple syrup
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. liquid, drained from canned pineapple
1/4 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
3 c. cooked, sliced chicken
1/4 c. onion, thin half slices
1 c. drained, canned pineapple
1/2 c. celery strips, thin
1/2 c. green pepper rings
1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles
2 c. cooked rice
1/4 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

Combine maple syrup, cornstarch and salt.
Stir into pineapple liquid.
Add vinegar and soy sauce.
