Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 c. peanut butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

In a large bowl, cream together margarine and peanut butter. Gradually blend in the sugars until fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla and beat well.
Add the baking soda and baking powder, mixing well.
Blend in the flour, mixing thoroughly. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten by crisscrossing with the tines of a fork.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 7 to 9 minutes.
