Have-A-Cran-Melon Ball Parfait - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (1 lb.) can jellied cranberry sauce
1 (7 oz.) bottle (about 1 c.) lemon-lime carbonated beverage
1 medium honeydew melon, halved, seeded, and scooped into balls
Preparation

Turn cranberry sauce into mixing bowl.
Beat until sauce is smooth.
Resting bottle on rim of bowl, slowly pour in lemon-lime beverage.
Mix gently with up and down motion.
Pour into 1-quart refrigerator tray and freeze.
Break into chunks.
Turn into chilled mixing bowl.
Beat until fluffy.
Return to tray and freeze.
Layer cranberry ice and honeydew balls in 4 chilled parfait glasses.
Serves 4.
