Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef or pork or Italian sausage
    1 c. chopped onions
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. fennel seed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    5 oz. lasagna noodles
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Cook meat, onions and garlic until brown and onions are tender; drain.
    Add next 8 ingredients.
    Add egg, Ricotta or cottage cheese, Parmesan or Romano cheese and parsley.
    Cook lasagna noodles following directions on package.
