Salmon Or Tuna Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) can salmon or tuna
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 heaping tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. liquid from salmon or tuna
    1/2 c. flour
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Preheat deep fryer half full of oil.
    Drain all but 1/4 cup liquid off the salmon or tuna and set aside.
    Put salmon or tuna in a mixing bowl and break it with a fork until no big flakes. Add flour, egg and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Add baking powder to liquid that was set aside and beat until frothy.
    Pour into mixture and stir until well blended.
    Scrape out a teaspoonful of mixture at a time and place in deep fryer of hot oil.
    Watch closely because they brown quickly.
    Lift out with slotted spoon and place on paper towel.
    Serve and enjoy.
