Cream Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 (15 oz.) can drained chunk pineapple
    1/4 c. cool water
    1 pkg. Knox gelatine
    1 pkg. Dream Whip (not Cool Whip)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
Preparation
    Boil together the sugar, lemon juice and pineapple for 5 minutes.
    While mixture cools, mix the water and gelatine together; set it aside.
    Mix the Dream Whip according to directions.
    Add the cream cheese; whip until smooth.
    Mix together the pineapple mixture and the gelatine.
    When almost set, gently fold in Dream Whip mixture.
    Let set overnight.
