Ice-Cream Treat Cat Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. cookies and cream ice cream
    1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
    1 1/2 c. heavy cream
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 large chocolate sandwich cookies
    2 candy orange slices
    2 large green gumdrops
    1 large black gumdrop
    2 (7-inch long) black licorice sticks, each cut lengthwise into thirds
    1 red jelly ring
Preparation
    Spread the ice cream in foil lined 9-inch round pan.
    Freeze until firm (3 hours).
    Prepare and cool the cake mix as label directs for two 9-inch layers.
    Place one cake layer on plate. Invert ice cream onto cake.
    Discard foil.
    Top with second layer.
