Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    2/3 c. evaporated milk (separated)
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 pkg. (about 50) caramels
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix together cake mix, margarine and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Pat half of mixture in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
    Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips on baked mixture, then pour caramels over this. Put remaining cake mix on top.
    Bake 20 minutes longer.
