Pumpkin Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin (2 c.)
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2/3 c. water
    1 c. salad oil
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. chopped nuts or raisins
Preparation
    Combine sugar, oil and eggs; beat well.
    Blend in pumpkin. Sift flour with baking powder, soda, salt and spices.
    Add alternately with water, beating well after each addition.
    Stir in nuts or raisins.
    Pour into 3 well-greased loaf pans.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Makes 3 loaves.
