Cherry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 beaten egg
1 2/3 c. milk
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped cherries
1/4 c. cooking oil
Preparation

In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
In another mixing bowl, combine beaten egg, milk and cooking oil.
Add to flour mixture, stirring just until combined.
Stir nuts and cherries into batter.
Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
