Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
2/3 c. milk
2 c. uncooked oats
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

In large saucepan, melt butter. When melted, add sugar and cocoa. Mix well. Add milk. Cook over medium heat until comes to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes or until mixture reaches soft-ball stage. Remove from stove; add oats, peanut butter and vanilla extract. Mix well. Spoon onto wax paper and let set. Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.
