Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped popcorn
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. pecan halves
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Remove any unpopped kernels of popcorn.
    Add nuts.
    In saucepan, bring brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt to a boil.
    Continue boiling for 5 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
    Turn off heat, quickly stir in baking soda and vanilla.
    Gently combine with popcorn and nuts.
    Divide mixture between 2 oiled 9 x 12-inch pans.
    Place in 250\u00b0 oven and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and immediately spread out onto wax paper to cool.
