Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 small onion, diced
1 egg, well beaten

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Pour in milk and egg; mix again and add onion.
Mix again.
Batter will be thin.
Fry in deep fat or oil. Drop by spoon.
