Double Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can tomato soup
    about 1 c. fresh or canned tomatoes
    1 small green pepper
    1 onion (any size)
    1 c. plus water
    1/8 c. Minute rice
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel and dice tomatoes, green pepper and onion.
    Combine with soup and water in saucepan.
    Add rice.
    Cook until onion is done. Season.
    I like to add 1 or 2 teaspoons of sugar.
    Add water to your preferred consistency.
    Will serve at least 3.
