Country Captain Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (14 1/2 to 16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut up
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) frying chicken, cut up, skinned if desired
1/4 c. raisins
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 medium green bell pepper, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
3 c. hot cooked rice
1/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted
Preparation

In plastic bag, combine flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper; shake to mix.
Add chicken pieces 1 or 2 at a time, to mixture in bag.
Shake to coat chicken with mixture.
