Strawberry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 qt. strawberries, sliced and sweetened
    8 oz. vanilla wafers, crushed
    2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Put half of vanilla wafers in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Spread mixture into wafers.
    Spread strawberries over top.
    Spread whipped cream next; top with remaining crushed wafers. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
