Picnic Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1 stick butter
    1 medium onion, sliced
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Put butter in the bottom of a long cake pan.
    Put a layer of potatoes, then layer with onions, salt and pepper.
    Then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Make another layer; then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
