Ice Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    nut halves or cherry halves to decorate (I use any of these: walnuts, almonds, pecans, red and green cherries for Christmas cookies)
Preparation
    Cream Crisco with sugar.
    Add eggs and beat until light.
    Add flour and salt; mix well.
    Add vanilla.
    Drop by spoonful onto an ungreased baking sheet.
    Put a nut or cherry half in the center. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
