Apple Raisin Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground allspice or nutmeg
    1/2 c. skim milk
    1 egg or 1/4 c. no-cholesterol egg substitute
    6 Tbsp. diet margarine
    2 medium apples, pared and chopped
    4 Tbsp. raisins
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder, salt and spice.
    Set aside. Combine milk, egg and margarine.
    Beat until blended.
    Add flour mixture and mix until blended but lumpy.
    Stir in chopped apples and raisins.
    Spoon batter into 14 non-stick muffin pans (about 2/3 full) and bake in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or until muffins are golden.
    Serve warm or cold.
    Makes 14 muffins, 105 calories each.
