Black Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 whole eggs
    1 1/2 c. butter
    1 c. jam
    1 c. preserves
    1 lb. raisins
    1 box dates
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 box figs
    2 c. sugar
    4-5 c. flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs, beat well.
    Sift flour and spices, baking powder and soda.
    Add alternately with milk.
    Fold in fruit.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until toothpick comes out clean.
