Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, well beaten
    2/3 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. flour (all-purpose)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    fat for deep-frying
    funnel with 3/8 to 1/2-inch opening
    confectioners sugar or molasses to sprinkle over before serving
Preparation
    Beat milk with egg.
    Blend dry ingredients and gradually add to milk mixture.
    Beat constantly until batter is smooth.
