Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. white corn meal
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 Tbsp. grated onion
2 eggs, well beaten

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients together.
A little more milk may be added for heavy batter. Drop by spoonfuls the size of an egg in 400\u00b0 oil. Drain and keep in hot oven.
