German Style Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large or 5 medium potatoes
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    3 strips bacon, diced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    sprinkle of onion salt or minced onion
    3/4 c. water
    2 level Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Blend 3/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons flour in shaker.
    Boil potatoes in skins until tender.
    Peel and let stand about 10 minutes before slicing so they won't break apart too much.
    Dice bacon; stir-fry until crisp.
    To this add water, vinegar, salt, pepper, onion salt and 3/4 cup sugar.
    Stir until blended.
    Add water and flour mixture to mixture; stir until smooth.
    Add to sliced potatoes, stirring with wooden spoon.
    Serve hot.
