Hamburger-Cornbread Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 medium or large onion, chopped fine
    1 chopped bell pepper
    1 small (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans
    1 box cornbread mix or 1 c. self-rising cornmeal
Preparation
    In lightly greased skillet, saute onion and pepper. Then place in a 2-quart casserole. Brown hamburger and mix it and the tomato sauce and beans in the casserole dish.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
