Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins, best ground
2 c. oatmeal
pecans and/or chocolate chips (optional)

Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugar, then cream both.
Add eggs and beat.
Add sifted dry ingredients, then milk and vanilla.
Beat well.
