Jenny'S Company Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. hot smoked sausage, sliced
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 (28 oz.) can pinto beans, drained
    1 (28 oz.) can chopped tomatoes
    1/2 c. catsup
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. brown sugar
    2 tsp. brown mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of red pepper
Preparation
    Combine first three ingredients in a Dutch oven.
    Cook until brown.
    Drain pinto beans; reserve liquid.
    Add liquid.
    Stir in remaining ingredients (except pinto beans) and simmer 45 minutes. Stir in pinto beans and cook for 15 minutes longer.
    Yields three quarts.
