Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. rhubarb stalks
1 bag frozen strawberries
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Slice rhubarb in small slices.
Combine in large pot with frozen strawberries.
Add a little water and poach over medium heat.
As rhubarb begins to get tender, add sugar.
Simmer until done (about 15 minutes after adding sugar).
Use like applesauce or as topping for cake, pudding, ice cream.
