Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1/3 c. Crisco oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 small can sweet peas (14 1/2 oz.)
    1 can French-style green beans
    1 can white sweet corn (Shoe Peg whole grain, 12 oz.)
    1 c. chopped celery
    3/4 c. chopped sweet pepper
    1 small jar pimento (2 oz.)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Bring first 6 ingredients to boil and let cool slightly.
    Pour over vegetables.
