Chicken Paprekash(Pawp-Pre-Kash) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 chickens, cut up
    2 green peppers
    3 or 4 onions
    9 carrots
    6 potatoes
    mushrooms (as desired)
    garlic powder to taste
    paprika to taste
    pepper to taste
    salt to taste
    1/2 stick butter
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown the chicken in butter and paprika.
    Dump browned chicken and remaining butter into large stewing pan.
    Add the vegetables which have been cleaned and cut into chunks (small things may be left whole).
    Add spices and water.
    Stew over low fire for several hours in covered pan.
    Additional water may be added, if needed.
    (More vegetables may be added, if desired; however, those quantities given are minimum for this dish.)
