Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
    2 egg whites
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped
    sliced fresh strawberries (optional)
Preparation
    Combine flour, pecans, butter and brown sugar in 8-inch square baking pan.
    Stir well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Cool.
    Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and egg whites in large mixing bowl.
    Beat at high speed for 10 to 12 minutes or until stiff peaks form.
    Fold in whipped cream.
