Ham And Potato Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 3/4 c. milk
    2 beaten eggs
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. milk
    1 (24 oz.) pkg. frozen shredded hash brown potatoes (8 patties)
    2 small onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    12 oz. cooked ham, cut into thin strips
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a saucepan melt margarine.
    Stir in flour.
    Add 1 3/4 cups milk all at once.
    Cook to make sauce.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir 1 cup of the mixture into the beaten eggs.
    Stir in Cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup milk and pepper.
    Set aside.
