German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 bacon strips
    1 small chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    1 1/3 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    dash of salt and pepper
    6 c. sliced, cooked peeled potatoes
Preparation
    In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp; remove and set aside. Cook chopped onion in the bacon drippings until tender. Stir in flour and blend until smooth.
    Add vinegar and water; cook until slightly thick.
    Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
    Crumble in bacon and the sliced, cooked potatoes.
    Heat through, stirring lightly, to coat all the potatoes.
    Serve warm.
    Serves 6 to 8.
