Mom'S Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
    1 can vegetable soup
    1 egg
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1/2 to 3/4 tsp. salt (according to taste)
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 to 1 c. oats
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    If too dry, add more ketchup.
    If too moist, add more oats.
    Put in pan; spread ketchup on top. Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
