No-Friller-Cheese Garlic Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. prepared baking mix (Bisquick)
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 c. (about 2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Mix baking mix, milk and cheese until a soft dough forms; beat vigorously for 30 seconds.
    Drop dough by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown.
    Mix butter and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.
    Serve warm.
    Makes 12 biscuits, each with 169 calories, 10 g fat and 15 mg cholesterol.
