Almond Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter or margarine
1/2 c. shortening
5 large eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 small can evaporated milk plus water to make 1 c. liquid
3 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortenings well.
Add eggs and salt; mix well. Add remaining ingredients; the longer the batter is mixed, the better the cake.
Pour into very lightly greased 12-cup Bundt pan. Put into cold oven; set temperature at 320\u00b0.
Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Cool 15 minutes and remove from pan.
Keeps very well several days.
