Breadsticks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 pkg. yeast
2 Tbsp. warm water
1/2 c. shortening
6 Tbsp. scalded milk
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Melt shortening in scalded milk; cool to lukewarm and add to yeast.
Sift flour, salt and sugar in a large bowl.
Make well in center; add all liquid at once and beat until dough comes away from sides of bowl.
