Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. water
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    8 oz. chopped dates
    1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped
    2 c. pecans, chopped
    3 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Cream
    butter
    and sugar; add eggs and cream.
    Mix soda with water and add to mixture.
    Add salt and vanilla.
    Stir in dates, cherries and pecans.
    Add flour.
    Drop teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 until done.
